Less Chaos · More Coordination
ChravelApp is the group chat travel app. It replaces the spreadsheet-plus-fifteen-apps approach to group travel with one shared workspace where the itinerary, the conversation, and the logistics finally live together.
The problem we set out to fix
Every group trip starts the same way: a group chat, a shared note, a spreadsheet somebody made once and nobody updated, and a folder of screenshots. The plan is technically written down — just scattered across five apps and three hundred messages. By the time the trip starts, the only person who knows the schedule is whoever built the spreadsheet.
The cost is not just annoyance. It is the confirmation number nobody can find at the airport, the dinner reservation two people missed because the message scrolled past, and the one organizer who ends up answering the same question fifteen times. Group travel does not fail because people do not care. It fails because the coordination tools were never designed for a group moving through the world together.
What ChravelApp does
ChravelApp puts a trip in one place. Each trip is a workspace with its own chat and broadcasts, a shared calendar and itinerary, tasks, attachments for files and receipts, shared photos and videos, an Explorer for places and links, Base Camps for where the group is staying, polls for group decisions, and payments for splitting what the trip costs. Members get roles, so an organizer can run logistics without handing everyone the keys.
An AI Concierge sits alongside the trip and answers questions grounded in what is actually planned. Schedules can be imported from a URL, a file, or pasted text, so an existing itinerary does not have to be retyped. Everything stays scoped to the trip — a family vacation does not bleed into a work trip, and a chapter formal does not sit in the same thread as a group of friends planning a long weekend.
Who uses it
ChravelApp serves three audiences on the same foundation. Consumer groups — friends, families, weddings, and reunions — use it to turn a group chat into an actual plan. Professional teams — touring crews, sports programs, corporate travel, and travel advisors coordinating clients — use Pro trips, where a coordinator can run the calendar, tasks, places, and files without seeing traveler chat or traveler photos. Event organizers use it to run multi-day events with broadcasts, schedules, and attendee coordination in one place.
The product is a mobile-first web app, installable as a PWA, and a live iOS App Store app. Android is currently a Play Store beta rather than a public listing. Pricing is freemium: the free plan covers small groups, and paid Plus, Pro, and Events tiers raise the limits for larger trips and organizations.
How we build
ChravelApp is built by a small team that ships continuously rather than in large seasonal releases. Trips carry real plans, real money, and real personal media, so access control is enforced at the database with row-level security rather than only in the interface, and features roll out behind flags that can be turned off without a redeploy.
We would rather ship a narrow feature that works everywhere than a broad one that works in a demo. If something on this site describes a capability, it is available in the product today.
