What this policy covers
The ChravelApp privacy policy sets out what information the service collects, how it is used, when it is shared, and how long it is kept. It covers account and profile data, the content you create inside a trip — messages, calendar entries, tasks, attachments, places, polls, payments, and shared photos and videos — and the technical data needed to operate and secure the service, including product analytics and crash reporting.
Dedicated sections explain how AI features use trip data, the named service providers that process data on our behalf, the security measures protecting it and our commitment to notify users of a breach as required by law, your rights and choices, the additional rights available to California residents under the CCPA and to residents of the EEA, UK, and Switzerland under the GDPR, data retention periods, children’s privacy, and international data transfers. The policy also describes how changes are announced.
Privacy and data questions, including export and deletion requests, go to privacy@chravel.app. Account deletion can also be started in the app from Settings, then Profile, then Delete Account.
